Meet the Anicon Team
Michael McDerment (Principal): Director of Operations
Michael is a graduate of Queens University
where he studied commerce. Michael teaches Internet
Marketing at Humber College
in Toronto, Canada. At Anicon Michael heads up client relations, project
management and business development.
Dr. Joe Sawada (Principal): Head of Software Development
Joe received his
doctorate in Computer Science in the spring of 2000 from the University
of Victoria. Joe is currently a faculty member at the University
of Guelph in the Department of Computing and Information Science.
Levi Cooperman: Director of Integration & Quality Assurance
Levi is a professional engineer and has been practicing for seven years - he received his B.Eng from the University of
Victoria (1996). In the last five years Levi managed projects for clients including Canadian Tire, Nestlé, and Parmalat.
Levi is a systems integration specialist and has led multi-platform integrations, incorporating many technologies
including: Oracle, SAP, .NET, Windows CE and Pocket PC.
Kathy Donoghue: Conversion Consultant
Kathy graduated from City University with an MSc in Information Systems & Technology.
She comes to Anicon from PricewaterhouseCoopers and
GE Capital where she led many successful web-based IT development
and knowledge management projects.
Adam Thomas: Key Developer; Flash Expert
Adam is a Faculty member at Humber College in Toronto where he is a professor
of database design and programming. Adam is a self-educated programmer
and industry expert for Macromedia
Flash development (including game design and XML and database
driven Flash applications).
Ben Unsworth: Key Developer; Content Management Systems
Ben is a graduate of McGill University
Department of Computer Science and specializes in rapid implementation
of web-based content management systems.
Jeff Sarmiento: Web Designer/Developer
Jeff studied Web Design and Internet Software Programming at Humber College
